Anilao Fun Dive

March 2-3, 2013

This has been one of the most memorable trip that I had. First because it was the first time I have ever dived and second because something close to my heart happened. :)

The group met at Jam Liner in Pasay Terminal. As soon as we were complete, we hopped onto the bus that goes to Anilao. Upon arriving at the Grand Terminal in Batangas, we rode a jeep to the public market where we bought our food (uncooked) and booze. After buying our needs from the market, we then rode a tricycle that leads to Dive 7000 in Anilao.

When we arrived there, we looked around the place and got to meet our dive instructors. Coincidentally, my dive instructor was also my high school teacher! It's really such a small world!

The resort where we stayed: Dive 7000
After talking and catching up, we settled down by pitching our tents in the lawn. I think the resort offers rooms but we chose to pitch our tents because we like it hard this way. Hahaha.

After pitching our tent, some of us cooked our dinner while some went snorkeling. I was part of the "snorkeling group" and off we went snorkeling 'til sunset.

We washed ourselves and had our dinner. After having dinner, we watched the intro dive video that were shown by our instructor.

DIVING PROPER:

We were first taught to use our masks in a salt water swimming pool. We were taught how to prevent water from filling in the mask and how to get rid of it in case it fills in.

After which, we were taught on how to use the breathing apparatus and how to equalize our ears.

Then we were on our way to the sea.

Since most of us were first timers, it was required that we had a buddy.

THE BEAUTY UNDER THE SEA
We spotted a Sea Turtle! :)

School of fish :)

After diving, we did some more snorkeling around and just bummed around. When it was time to go back to our city lives, me and my new found friends packed up our things and off we went.

The wacky bunch!
